Lift-sliding system

Lift-sliding systems are a modern solution for balcony and terrace doors that connect interior and exterior spaces without obstruction. The leaf lifts when opening and glides along a precision track — quietly, smoothly and effortlessly, even for leaves weighing several hundred kilograms.

Available in PVC and aluminium versions, with single-leaf and multi-leaf configurations. They enable panoramic glass surfaces, minimal profiles and thermal insulation at passive-house level.

Lift-sliding system models

Available in several configurations — single-leaf, double-leaf and multi-leaf systems in PVC and aluminium versions. Every model is manufactured to measure according to the opening dimensions and building requirements.

About the system

What is a lift-sliding system and how does it work

A lift-sliding system is a type of door in which the leaf gently rises off the bottom seal when the handle is activated. This mechanism reduces the pressure of the leaf on the track by more than 90%, so even leaves weighing several hundred kilograms move with almost no effort.

When closing, the leaf automatically drops back onto the seal and activates multiple gaskets around the entire perimeter of the frame. The result is outstanding watertightness, thermal insulation and acoustic protection — identical to a hermetically sealed window.

Systems are available in PVC and aluminium profiles, with single-leaf and multi-leaf configurations, and can be adapted to openings ranging from standard balcony dimensions to panoramic façade systems.

Types and variants

Lift-sliding system types

From simple balcony systems to panoramic façades — there is a configuration for every opening and requirement.

01Classic

PSK — lift-sliding system

The standard type of lift-sliding system. The leaf is slightly lifted when opening to reduce friction, then glides along the track. Available in PVC and ALU with excellent thermal insulation.

02Premium

HST — lift-slide system

A high-quality lift-sliding system with enhanced mechanics. Slim visible profile line, outstanding thermal insulation and the ability to accommodate large glass panels exceeding 3 metres in height.

03Minimalism

Parallel sliding system

The leaf moves parallel to the fixed section, allowing a minimal profile and maximum transparency. Ideal for modern architecture and panoramic openings.

04Space saving

Pocket sliding system

The leaf retracts into the wall when fully open. No visible tracks or profiles when the door is open — the space connects without obstruction.

05Large openings

Multi-leaf sliding system

Two, three or four leaves on a single track. Designed for terrace doors, winter gardens and openings up to 8 metres wide. Each leaf slides independently.

06Energy class A

Thermal insulation version

Lift-sliding systems with a thermally broken profile and triple argon-filled glazing. Achieve U-values below 1.0 W/m²K and meet passive-house construction requirements.

Why choose them

Benefits of lift-sliding systems

Lift-sliding doors are not just an aesthetic solution — they offer a range of technical and functional advantages over conventional hinged doors.

Unobstructed indoor–outdoor passage

Lift-sliding doors eliminate the threshold that impedes movement. The same floor level inside and outside makes passage practical and safe.

Large glass openings

The system carries glass panels with a surface area of up to 6 m², enabling a panoramic view and maximum natural light without structural compromises.

Excellent thermal insulation

With thermally broken profiles and triple low-emission glazing, lift-sliding systems achieve low U-values that meet the requirements of energy-passive buildings.

High acoustic protection

Multiple seals when the leaf is lowered provide outstanding sound insulation — up to 45 dB. Ideal for urban locations, buildings near busy roads, or wherever quiet is a priority.

Effortless opening of heavy leaves

The lifting mechanism reduces the load on the track by more than 90%. Leaves weighing 400–500 kg glide with almost no effort and minimal resistance.

Security and burglary resistance

A multi-point lock that secures the leaf along its full height and tempered or laminated safety glass make the system a reliable barrier.

Applications

Where lift-sliding doors are used

Any space that requires a large glass opening, unobstructed passage or panoramic view is an ideal candidate for a lift-sliding system.

Terraces and balconies

Sliding terrace or balcony doors minimise heat loss and allow the space to open fully towards the outdoors.

Winter gardens

Multi-leaf sliding systems are ideal for enclosing winter gardens with full control over ventilation and light transmission.

Panoramic façades

Minimal ALU profiles and large glass panels make lift-sliding systems the first choice for modern architecture with panoramic views.

Hotels and commercial spaces

A representative appearance, effortless gliding and high acoustic protection make lift-sliding systems the standard in hotel and commercial projects.
